General Terms and Conditions

Once you have made your decision to visit Ethiopia with us, read through the following terms and conditions of Tek Tours (TT): Program contracts and service agreements become valid upon Tek Tours confirmation of the booking by letter, fax, email or telephone. A deposit of 25% of the total cost is requested at the time of confirmation. The remainder of the total cost is payable 30 days before the beginning date of the tour. If complete payment has not been received, TT is not obligated to accept the client or conduct the tour unless prior arrangements have been made. Cancellations of confirmed bookings received more than 30 days prior to departure are subject to a cancellation penalty of US$ 40 per person. Cancellations received between 30 and 15 days prior to departure will be subject to a penalty of 25% of the total tour rate. Cancellations received less than 15 days prior to departure will be subject to losing the entire tour rate. Tek Tours liability to passengers transported in its own vehicles is governed by the laws of Ethiopia, and all claims are subject to the jurisdiction of the court of Ethiopia in which the cause of action arises. Although every possible care is taken to safeguard you and your property, TT accepts no liability or responsibility for loss or damage of any personal effects. TT will use its best efforts to assist as agent for our clients in dealing with third parties such as hotels, airlines and other transport companies and travel agents. However, TT cannot be held responsible for any loss or harm such as sickness, injury, death, acts of God, or additional costs incurred due to denied boarding, overbooking, cancellation or delay caused by a third party.
